Fine tool
this is a very efficient and compact smoker that was easy to assemble and use. It's not easy for cold smoking.

This smoker is AWESOME!
I use this for smoking all kinds of things - beef, pork and even nuts. The flavor of the smoke is wonderful. The service was also above expectation - [...]- can't get much better than that! I had purchased another similar smoker at a local retailer and after using it twice, returned it and ordered the Meco. It does all I wanted it to and more! It was easy to assemble and is made of quality materials.

Happy with this product
This product is great for smoking fish. The temperature is well controlled and doesn't require too much supervision. So far we smoked Amberjack and Mackeral, both were delicious!

Great smoker for the money!
This is an awesome product for the price. I got it because of a review in "Cooks Illustrated." It replaced the charcoal-only smoker that I bought [...] This is a great product for slow barbecue smoke cooking. It's sturdy. The vents on the top help control the temperature. The side doors allow easy access for adding more water to the pan or for adding more wood for smoking. The electric attachment has a thermostat which is a HUGE plus for controling the temperature. You will need to remove the cheap thermometer though. It only has "low-medium-high" indicators. You'll have to replace it with a thermomter that actually reads in degrees if you want to control your cooking temps accurately. Just buy a replacement grill thermometer at any hardware or home improvement store. It does take a bit of ingenuity to install a replacement thoermometer. Good luck!
