Full Description: This BBQ Guys Stainless Steel Electric Grill features commercial 304 grade, 18 gauge stainless steel construction with a number 4 brushed finish; double walled lid; a 16. 5 W x 12 D porcelain coated steel rod cooking surface - large enough to hold 8 burgers or 4 chicken quarters; grease management system; maximum temperature in excess of 550 degrees at the cooking surface; 60 inch power cord; and 120 volts, 1500 watts. Grill requires a 15 amp circuit and can also be built in to any non combustible surface. Overall Grill Dimensions (in inches): 18. 25 W x 13 H x 12. 25 D. Lifetime warranty on all stainless steel components. One year warranty on electric heating element.

Love this BBQ!!!
I wrote earlier that i got this grill for Christmas... well I used it today for the first time and it was awesome!! BBQ'd two racks of ribs!!! They were yummy! I recommend this grill to everyone!

Cowboy UP! VERY nice grill!
Hi,
Did a ton of research before I bought this grill. I am a cowboy from Wyoming converted to a city slicker in Florida. My wife and I live in a condo in Florida. I have grilled over mountain fires and branding fires. We use to grill out on the ranch when it was 25 below zero.
This little electric grill REALLY does the job. We now live in a condo, god a'mighty...and have to use electric on the balcony. Let this grill pre-heat for on high for 15 minutes and it will sear your steak. Just leave it on high, flip the steak over in about 3-5 minutes cook another 1-2 and yer good to go. Knock his horns off, wipe his butt and run em in!
For thin steaks just pre-heat the grill on high again for 15 minutes. Take your steak out frozen, wipe a little olive oil on it and put the steak on the grill.
I cook many of my steaks frozen even on larger propane or charcoal grills. You'll have less of chance getting your steak over done!
I have cook beer brats on this grill and chicken works just peachy.
What does the grill need?
A thermometer in the lid would be nice.
A cover made out of a water resistant breathable material. The pvc or plastic covers create condensation and makes grills rust. The grill is portable enough that I am now bringing it inside when I am done cooking with it.
The cooking grate surface is 16 3/8 inces long but there is room for nearly 18 inches and on a grill this size having more cooking real estate would be nice.
Also having a stainless cooking surface grate would be nice because I think it might get hotter than the porcelin one and that would make an even better sear.

Great for Balconies
I grill several times a week, and have used gas, charcoal, and electric through the years. I've been using this model for a year. Denver laws only allow electric or the small gas can type on balconies. This is the best solution I've found for balcony grilling, and I'm very happy with it.
My approach was to use the ceramic briquettes under the electric heating unit, and that causes more smoke -- more like the gas grills I've used and liked for years.
It's very easy to use, and once I got used to the timing -- everything takes longer to cook -- I love it. Best results for chicken, pork, fish, and veggies, which I cook on high with the lid down.
I wish it got hotter for steaks, but the steaks are still OK. I generally prop the lid open 1 inch for steaks to keep them from baking.
I've never tried to clean it, as I don't mind it accumulating black stuff on the inside (it was best after a period of "breaking in") and a tan/bronze color on the outside. What the heck. It's a barbeque! :-)
Bottom line -- I'm very happy with it, and recommend as the best solution for condo/apt balconies.
